October 2026: Tips, eNews & More!

Fall is in full swing! October is the month for cozying up, watching the leaves change, and spending time with friends and family over the Thanksgiving weekend. We hope you're enjoying all the autumn activities this month and making the most of the season.

And as you enjoy everything fall has to offer, don't forget to make time for your oral health. Booking a checkup and comprehensive oral health screening can help you stay on top of your dental health and catch potential concerns early. In this month's article, we're taking a closer look at Oral Cancer, including its signs, symptoms, and treatment options.

If you have dental benefits, consider reviewing your coverage and seeing what services are available to you before most plans renew at the beginning of 2027. Using your benefits for regular dental care, completing outstanding treatment, and preventative screenings, can help you maintain a healthy smile and maximize your benefits.

Have a fun and healthy October 🎃

Oral cancer screenings as part of comprehensive dental visits are a simple step that can help protect your health and give you peace of mind. Early detection matters, so keeping up with regular dental exams is an important part of maintaining your oral and overall health.
