Alliston Village Dental is owned by Dr. Kent Lam and Dr. James Kim. Since opening in 2016, our practice has been proudly serving the families and community of Alliston. Navigating insurance complexities can be overwhelming. At Alliston Village Dental, we simplify the process by offering direct billing to all insurance companies. Our Alliston Dental team handles the paperwork, submitting claims directly to your insurance company for swift reimbursement. Alternatively, if you prefer, we can arrange for payments to be sent directly to us, streamlining the financial aspect of your dental care.

Dr. James Kim graduated in 2002 in the top 5% of his class, obtaining his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Western Ontario. After associating at various dental offices in the GTA, Dr. Kim established his own office in Lindsay in 2004.
Dr. Kim believes that to best serve his patients, it is important to continue to educate himself on the advances in the dental field. He is a certified provider for both Invisalign and Oral Moderate Sedation. He enjoys working with children and aims to provide a comfortable treatment environment for all his patients.
In his spare time, Dr. Kim enjoys reading, outdoor activities, spending time with his daughter and watching his son play hockey.
Dr. Kent Lam obtained his Honors Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto, followed by his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Western Ontario, where he graduated with Distinction.
Dr. Lam is a strong believer in lifelong learning and strives to stay up-to-date with modern dentistry to provide the best possible care to his patients. He frequently attends continuing education courses and is a certified provider of Oral Moderate Sedation and Invisalign.
When not in the office, Dr. Lam enjoys cooking, running, having participated in several 10 km and half-marathons, and spending time with his family.
